DIY: Finger Painting

Assalam ladies ^_^

Si kecik Ana Sofia dah tidur kepenatan. Hihi. Since dah officially jadi toddler ni, she cant stop exploring world with her two tiny feet. Penat nak kejar satu rumah. Haha. Takpe, orang cakap anak aktif ni bijak. Takpe. As parents kena banyak sabar. Hihi.

So hari ni teringin nak bagi Sofia buat toddler's activity instead of roaming around the house main botol air mineral, wires, etc etc. hihi. So one of my friends, Sabrina (blog) pernah tunjuk photo of her toddler (about the same age as Sofia) finger painting. She bought the edible paints for the activity. And before that, I saw photos of (ThePinkStilletoes) Kak Iza's kids on instagram...she let her kids finger painting dalam bathroom using edible paints jugak. I was thinking, I should try this activity with Sofia since it looks so much fun and the kids (sab's and kak iza's) were enjoying it so much.

But since I'm too lazy to go out to buy the paints. Hehe. I might as well DIYed the paints. Sekejap je google terus dapat recipe. Hehe. There are few recipes online. Yang paling simple is as follows:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- food coloring of your choice
Instruction:
- mix flour + water + salt together
- divide the mixture into few paper cups
- add little bit of food coloring in each cup and mix well.

Prepare playmat (the one yang easy to clean), paper, and plastic/paper dish. Let your child explore. :D

So I made those paints. Senang sangat 5 minutes pon tak sampai. Stuffs pun semua dah ada kat kitchen. Hehe

3. Her first painting. I swear I did not help her paints. She did that all by herself. I'm proud to say that that is quite a masterpiece for a 15month old toddler. Hehe

Guess where these paintings will go? I'll frame them and hang them in her room. In her new room. :)

So. Tu je kot for now. I curi curi masa nak update ni. Hehe. I'm so excited to share her paintings with the rest of the world. Hehehehe. Excuse me for being a proud mom. Hahahaha.
