It's Time for P.A.R.T.A.Y.Y.Y!!!!

Assalam ladies ^_^

Well, I think a lot of you knew that Sofia's birthday fell on her parents' anniversary. Hehe. Bukan plan, some people think we planned nak pregnant kan Sofia supaya lahir on the anniversary. It's actually no. Allah has planned it for us. ^_^ Masa memula pregnant tak tahu pun due date nya bila. Jumpa doctor ini...kata nya January. Jumpa doctor itu kata nya early December. Tapi jumpa Dr. Seri, Dr. Seri cakap we'll have the baby on 25th Dec. What a coincidence. :D And later bila genap 40 minggu pregnant, Sofia tak nak lahir jugak, terpaksa la induced untuk elakkan complication pada baby. Masa bersalin pon chances to be on 25th was 50-50 sebab lambat sangat pintu nya bukak. Heee. But like I said. Allah is the greatest planner. We held her on the first time on our anniversary night. (Birth story HERE) Ehe...that was a year ago. Can you believe it? Dah setahun Sofia lahir. Dah setahun jadi parents. Macam-macam benda baru belajar. Sofia progress pun laju. Oh well..that will be in another entry. Hehe. This time around nak cerita pasal birthday party Sofia. Hehe.

So. We didn't host the party on the 25th itself. Banyak halangan; tambah-tambah si Daddy start cuti on ly from 25th. So kami postponed ke hari Sabtu nya. Guests pun cakap Sabtu better. Jadi Saturday it is! :D

Sofia's First Birthday Theme was Snow White. =D Memula si Ibu ni nak buat theme lain. Tapi tetiba tukar. Padahal sebelum tu dah draft macam-macam dah untuk theme yang tu. Hehe. Tapi bagus jugak tukar. Idea datang macam air. Alhamdulillah two weeks is just enough for the preparation. :D 

Party setting....we had main buffet, candy buffet, photobooth, and playground. Oh ye. Party ni buat kat my granny's place sebab ruang tamu nya luas sikit. Senang nak duduk bawah bergelimpangan dan senang babies and toddlers nak berlari sesuka hati. Muahahaha. 

As I mentioned in previous post, most of the party deco, costume, foodies are DIYed. I must say... 95% is DIYed. Hehe. Of course ramai yang membantu yours truly. Mana larat nak buat sorang-sorang kan...especially bab masak. Sebab I busy buat deco. Muahaha. So hari tu, my mom, tante, my mother-in-law (mil), sisters-in-law, cousin, aunties...ramai lah yang menolong. :D I'm blessed to have them. ^_^ Let's go to photobooth first, shall we? :D

Photobooth ni simple je buat. Pakai crepe papers and photos of Sofia je. I might as well called it wall of photos sebab masa hari kejadian, tak dapat nak bergambar kat area ni. Kaum-kaum bapak duduk lepak makan kat situ. Tak dapat nak bergambar. Hahaha. There are 24 pieces of photos kat situ in nombor one shape. Photos tu are gambar Sofia dari lahir sampai la umurnya setahun. :D Next, candy buffet..

Candy buffet pun DIY. The only foodies yang tempah kat situ are muffin, chocolate, marshmellow, apam polka dot, and....cake...also mineral water. Hihihi. Menu candy buffet termasuklah popcorn, fruit bits, choco fondue, choc chips cookies, blueberry sugar cookies, and butter cookies. I buat sugar cookies sahaja. Iye. Yang berwarna merah ituw. Hahaha.

Next main buffet. I must say...foodies kat main buffet were the talk of the day. Haha. Especially beef stew yang dimasak sempurna oleh Tante. Kihkih. Other menu kat main buffet were french loaf (makan dengan beef stew), baked macaroni, sosej and bun, potato salad (cousin Aqilah buat. Sedap!), and mini egg sandwich. As you girls can see, all of them are English buffet. Nak masuk theme maaa. Hehehe

Party labels are DIYed. Designed by me. Husband tolong print. Kihkih. Birthday cake Sofia pulak was a two layer fondant cake. Layer bawah was chocolate buttercake while the top part was strawberry buttercake. Design wise....kami google je. Sebab no bakery shop yang dapat buat macam design awal yang we had in mind. Huhu. But Im glad it turned out pretty and delish. ^_^ Hehe.

Aaa lupa la pulak....party favors! Hehe. It is a jelly in jar. Ada dua perisa....satu apple (the yellow one), and satu lagi blueberry (the blue one). Also buat sendiri. :D 

Hehe as for deco pulak. Beli yang cheap cheap one aje maaa. Few statues such as birdies, mushrooms, and dwarfs beli kat Romantika. Hehe. Around RM6-30 per piece. :D Mirror yang I tampal gambar sofia ni was handmade from a cardboard. Susah gila nak potong. Dari intricate design terus jadi simple macam kat bawah ni. Straight copy from Snow White movie by Disney. Hehe. Gambar Sofia tu I photoshop aje. Haha. Sofia still berambut pendek. Hihihi

Playground pulak....I hamparkan playmate Sofia. Then pasang princess tent and pool. Then letak segala macam toys kat situ. Kids tak bergerak okay dari situ. Mak ayah boleh makan dengan tenang. Hahaha.

Oh yes. One more. Baju Sofia. It was made with love by Ibu Sofia. Hehe. And was a hit too. Ramai kata comel. Hehe. Ada sesiapa nak tempah birthday tutu from me? haha. So...I guess that's all je kot. Bawah ni I sertakan photos from the birthday party untuk tatapan you girls my blog reader. ^_^ It was a tiring process to get it all done....but most importantly...Sofia had fun and I definitely had fun organizing Sofia's first birthday party. Looking forward to many more birthdays. Hehhe

I cant wait for Sofia to grow up. Nak tunjuk semua picture ni kat dia.
