Just Like Scene dalam Drama Melayu

Assalam ladies. ^_^

Ada orang yang sepanjang pregnancy, takde alahan langsung. Ada pulak yang kena alahan teruk. Macam one of my besties, tak sedar langsung yang dia pregnant. Bila first time check kat doctor, tau tau je dah 15 minggu pregnant tanpa ada alahan langsung. Siap terus tahu jantina baby lagi. hehehe. =D Alahan ni...or people called it Morning sickness, tak terjadi kat semua orang yang mengandung. Only to certain people je. :D

Biasanya bila kita tahu kita pregnant dalam tempoh awal, memang kita akan self-concious lebih. Kadang-kadang psychological jugak allergies ni. =D hehehe. My first few weeks were okay. Selera makan besar. I ate almost everything. Foods yang I jarang makan pun I makan. Heee. Sedap je. 

Two weeks after that, we went to see the doctor again. Nak tahu perkembangan janin. Jadi we went for another ultrasound scan. Alhamdulillah it was still there and growing. Then doctor cakap, "next few weeks will be tough sebab you will be experiencing nauseas and all that". I was worried…but the doctor explained it well.

She said “Actually mual and muntah are good. It shows that the zigot actually fights for its survival in your womb. Your body tries to expel the zigot cause it thinks that the zigot will threaten you. So when the zigot fights back, that is when you feel nausea semua tu”

Yes...may be psychological has something to do with it...when I entered week 9, I started to feel nausea. I tak boleh smell and eat sambal merah…which sebelum ni was my favourite. Supplement-wise, I cuma makan acid folic je prescribed by Dr. Fauziah. Acid folic is very-very important for those yang plan nak pregnant. It helps to strengthen your uterus and prepare it for the pregnancy. Jadi sesiapa yang nak pregnant, seek advice from your doctor and ask him to prescribe you with acid folic. I makan acid folic since a month before.

But yeah I have a mild nausea followed by bluuuekkk bluekk (macam scene orang pregnant dalam drama Melayu kat TV. hehe) tapi tak muntah pun. Serious macam scene dalam drama melayu. Hahaha. Pelik jugak sebab my granny, my mom, and aunties semua tak sampai muntah macam I. -_-" Later we changed doctor...masuk hospital panel company hubby. Cause from what I heard it will be very costly when your tummy grows bigger. Huhuu. At least bila guna panel hospital ni, kurang la sikit belanja perubatan and check up. Ye tak? :)

But to get into this panel hospital, it took us another three weeks to finally jumpa this doctor. Cause her schedule was jammed packed. First meeting, I have to repeat all the procedures that I did dengan Dr. Fauziah dulu plus the blood sampling. But this time, much more detailed. We did ultrasound jugak. Masa ni sangat terkejut tengok screen ultrasound. It amazes us cause just by 3 weeks gap, the fetus has grown so fast. If last scan it's still in the shape of a kacang, now it finally looks like a baby, nampak kepala, tangan and kaki. ^_^  Tapi masa tu printer scan doctor rosak. So the doctor allowed us to record a video of it. So cute. ^_^ It IS amazing. Besar sungguh ciptaan Allah. Dan syukur sangat-sangat. ^_^ Hee. ^_^

On that particular visit, I was in my week 12. We never prepared for this surprise when the scan was performed on me. For the very first time, we heard the baby’s heartbeat. Wonderful feeling I must say. Alhamdulillah. ^_^ We were sooo overwhelmed sampai lupa nak tanya soalan-soalan yang dah dikumpul sebelum tu. T_T Thank Allah for this rezeki, repeatedly. I was prescribed with calcium lactate, pramilet (iron), and neurogainpb (fish oil).

So when I entered my 13 weeks of pregnancy, I started muntah-muntah. Perhaps from the new prescribed supplements. Sebab the first doctor, Dr. Fauziah refused to prescribe me with obimin(iron) sebab I will be vomiting. It went on sampai week 14 ke 15 macam tu. Last I muntah masa I was busy preparing for Viva Voce (post HERE). Alhamdulillah, masa I Viva Voce tu, I dah masuk week 15. So I dah tak muntah-muntah dah. Can you see how fine Allah has planned it for me? I learnt about my pregnancy when I just finished major correction of my thesis. I was literally bedridden during my first trimester. And I had my Viva Voce after I finished my challenging first trimester. Allah is the Greatest. ^_^

Our appointment with Dr. Seri is on monthly basis. So the next appointment with her was when I was in week 17. MasyaAllah. The baby is growing beautifully. The baby triples the size of the last scan. The baby even suck on it’s thumb masa 4D scan and pusing membelakangkan screen, kemungkinan besar sebab malu. Pemalu rupanya anakku ini. Hihihi. Since the first heartbeat, the baby has been very active kicking and swimming aroud. Because  of my small frame, the doctor said I might feel the baby’s moving around as early as week12. Which actually the first movement I felt was during week11, masa kat kenduri kawan husband. Masa tu ada orang nyanyi karaoke. May be baby pun suka karaoke just like the daddy, dia pun gerak-gerak dalam tu. Hehe.

So our latest appointment was on the last Friday the August 19^th. I was 5 months and 2 weeks pregnant by then. Supplements masih sama. We did scan like usual. Each visit, doctor check the baby's growth. Measure head circumference, abdominal circumference, tulang kaki, fetal heartbeat, etc etc. Then doctor tanya..."Nak tahu gender ke tak?" Hehehhehehehe. Tentulah nak kan?! Hehehe. So Alhamdulillah, early prediction of the baby gender is a tuuuuuuuuttttt. Hahahaha XD

To my friends yang dah tahu (Yes I'm talking to YOU: Wani, Inaz and those yang followed me on twitter, tak ramai pun but still. Hahaha) please senyap okay! Hahaha. Bukan apa...tak mahu hebohkan benda yang tak pasti. Mana tahu, doctor scan kata gender A, tup-tup keluar gender B. Hihihi. ;P

Baby stuffs pun both of us belum start beli lagi. Ingat dah tahu gender senang la nak beli barang baby. Tapi looks like tak semudah tu. Hurm... =/ Walaupun dah ada baby list on hand....tapi dengan wide range of selection, market kita offers sekarang ni...agak musykil untuk pilih dan beli dengan senang. =/ Hurm...both of us are still looking around for best deals. ^_^

So..tu je kot wrap up untuk cerita pregnancy ni. InsyaAllah I'll update from time to time. ^_^ Doakan yang terbaik untuk kami. Mudah-mudahan kandungan ni membesar dengan sempurna dan sihat sepanjang masa. ^_^ Till then, see you girls later. Tata! ^_^
