Storage Ideas: Small Stuffs

Assalam ladies. ^_^ 

How are you? July dah nak habis, but I only managed to put up five entries this month. Pethetic. T_T I'm so overwhelmed with works so I have less time to find for ideas and write up an entry. Sorry banyak-banyak eh. =D 

Like I said earlier in the last post, I'm supposed to hantar my final thesis today, the 25th. However, I takde rezeki nak hantar lagi and will not having my convo this year. Sobs. Takpe lah. I have to produce the best supaya semua pihak puas hati. =D Take it positive. Yeah baby! Hehehe.

Anyhow. Today. I nak share pasal storage ideas. Iya dong, kok saya ini orang nya sudah berlaki. Harus tahu deh sedikit sebanyak cara ngurusin rumah tangga. Hehehehe. =D Hari ni genap 7 bulan kahwin. Masih banyak lagi yang perlu belajar. =D But I hope these small small things I share boleh la bantu you girls jugak untuk mempercepatkan urusan mengemas dan mencari barang yang kecil-kecil ni. Hehehe.

STORAGE IDEAS #1: Brooches and Small Accessories

First of all, storage ideas for brooches. Ye lah kan. Kita ni orang perempuan memang banyak accessories. terutama yang bertudung, sebab kena ada banyak brooch. Dulu-dulu I letak brooch dalam satu bekas je. tapi macam susah la pulak nak cari di waktu-waktu kecemasan kan. Hehehe. Jadi, visit ke Daiso dah selesaikan masalah I ni. Hehehe. Now I store my brooches and other small accessories kat dalam this container.

I think this is the one yang you girls store your benang and beads etc kan? Hehe. But I used it to store these stuffs. =D There are few compartments dalam container tu. And these compartments boleh ubah ikut citarasa kita sendiri. 

So it depends on how you want to store your brooches. Either ikut warna ke...or size. As for me, I takde la banyak sangat brooch. So I susun ikut size. Top row from left, I letak hair clips - bobbi pin, sepit rambut yang cute-cute (;P) hehe. Then I letak butang baju melayu Zack. Sepatutnya letak kat bekas butang baju melayu yang khas. Tapi I rasa macam cantik pulak letak kat situ. Hehehe. Then, ada safety pins. As you can see, dah tinggal beberapa ketul je. Banyak dah hilang and I lupa nak beli lagi. LOL. XD Then yang kat hujung kanan I letak small brooch yang biasa kita pakai kat bawah dagu. Hehehe.

Row yang panjang sikit kat tepi tu I letak bigger brooches and kat bawah dia my bracelets and pearl necklace. =D Hooo these are not for gold jewelry ye. Yang tu kena store dalam bekas dia separately from others for safety and untuk jaga color of the gold. =D Then untuk compartment yang paling godang (besar) sekali belah kanan tu, I store some huge brooches (Got them from HERE) yang pakai kat kebaya etc. Hehe. 

So, you see. Bila dah simpan these small stuffs ikut size or color (ikut taste you girls) it makes it a lot easier to browse your stuffs and nak match kan dia dengan your outfit. =D Right? Heee. Kat Daiso, I beli this container for only RM5. I'm not sure kat tempat lain how much. But I think storage container ni paling murah kat Daiso. Sebab semuanya RM5. Haha. XD

STORAGE IDEAS #2: Cotton pad and Cotton Buds

Next, masih menggunakan container yang ala-ala di atas tu. Tapi kali ni I choose something a little bit deeper untuk store my cotton pad (face cotton) and cotton buds. It's just I hate simpan plastic pembungkus in which the cotton pads and buds come with. I hope you girls dapat imagine rupa bentuk plastic tu. Hehehe. You girls perasan tak if cottons yang macam ni, if terdedah kat udara, dia akan jadi lerai....or camne eh nak explain. Dia dah tak ikut shape dia dah. If cotton buds tu nanti dia jadi berbulu if kena udara lama-lama. 

I remembered one ideas from IKEA's catalog. Hold on I try to look on it's website if ada lagi gambar tu.

Aiseh yang kosong ni je jumpa. T_T But this one is RM15.90 from IKEA. Since, (a) I'm too lazy to turn the lids open and close each time nak pakai cotton swab or pads, and (b) takut pecah, and (c) not cost effective, I decided to just use the normal plastic container. Much more reliable, I think. =D So I found this container kat Jusco for only RM5 jugak. =D Heee. I think kat Daiso pon ada jugak. I lupa dah. Serious lama tak pergi shopping. Huhu.

There are two compartments with adjustable partition. I think this container supposed to be used untuk foods kot. I tak ingat. Hehehe. But I got it anyways. =D So I store my cotton pads and swab macam dalam gambar  kat bawah. It's easier for me sebab I jenis yang suka bersihkan telinga hari-hari. (Bad habit I know! But I couldn't stand rasa gatal kena air setiap kali lepas mandi. Hahaha). So, senang when I need to use my face cotton, I boleh grab cutton buds sekali and just tutup like that je, tanpa perlu pusingkan penutup container tu. Easy kan? =D Hehehe.

Aim: Lesser time to open/close the lids sambil jaga the quality of the cotton itself. =D

STORAGE IDEAS #3: Cables

One of the thing yang kita selalu terlepas pandang, is cable storage. I'm pretty sure many of us are having headache dengan cable computer/camera/handycam and charger handphone yang berselirat kat satu sudut bilik. Betul tak? Heee. Jadi. Same concept dengan storage idea sebelum ni. I beli container yang besar sikit untuk store all these cables. =D

Bergantung pada tempat anda nak store this container, you girls boleh choose the proper dimension for the container. As for me and hubby yang masih menumpang di rumah mertua, space kami adalah terhad (oh I'm not complaining here okay. I'm grateful indeed for having a place to stay before our own house siap. Just that we have to work things out based on condition and space ^_^). Jadi I beli storage yang kecil ni je. 

This container do wonders. I store all  my handycam (charger and PC) cables, my camera battery charger, small tripod, handphone chargers, ...what else...oh ya...and laptop chargers. It really is convenient. =D

You think I used all the space inside the container? I'm not. There's still some space. =D Hehehe. See picture below. I only used up to half of it. =D 

But container yang deep macam ni susah nak cari yang attached sekali dengan lid dia macam dua container kat atas tu. So I have to satisfied dengan yang jenis detached lid yang macam ni. But it still easy to open and close. =D Hehe.
