How To Choose Your Lipsticks

Good afternoon ladies. ^_^ 

Dah lamam tak blog pasal makeup kan? =D Sorry. Hehehehe. Do you girls still remember my post pasal makeup lifespan? Well, one of the entry I ada cakap pasal lifespan of lipstick/lipgloss. Remember? =D I got a question from a reader yang I think I kena share some tips on how to choose the lipsticks. The question goes like this...

There are two questions there. (1) How to choose the lipstick yang sesuai untuk kita; and (2) The best way to test the color. =D

First question. Before I go into details...jom read some tips I got from Bobbi Brown Phone Apps from my Samsung Wave. =D Cool eh? I can just read the makeup tips from the phone wherever and whenever I want :D

So. This is best for those yang tak pakai heavy eyeshadow. Kiranya...you want to look natural. So the best way is to choose the color macam color lips kita. If you are like me yang bibir atas lagi gelap dari yang bawah (sebab banyak minum Milo ;P ), the best color to choose is color lips yang bawah as shown kat pictures ni.

But if you wear eyeshadow in rainbow colors (LOL); or smokey...apa-apa yang heavy la kan...you should tone down your lipstick. Kiranya...pale color looks good when paired up with smokey eyes etc. One thing kena ingat when applying makeup is....we want to highlight only one feature at a time. Let's say if you think you have nice lips...so tone down your eye and blush color, and wear some daring/bold color lipstick that emphasize your lips. =D

Contoh terdekat...I sendiri la kan...I'm not a big fan of lipstick yang color terang-terang ni. Sebabnya...I tak nak orang tengok my lips....yang seterusnya boleh menampakkan my teeth yang tungganglanggang ni. Instead, I focus on eyeshadow color. So that I dapat attract orang tengok my eyes instead of my lips. Faham tak apa yang I cuba sampai kan? Ke I syok sorang-sorang ni? hehehe. =D

Okay. Second question....I kan...if nak try lipstick...I always guna tisu. First..I akan sapu tisu tu kat tepi lipstick instead of kat surface atas lipstick tu...then sapu  la kat bibir. That way dapat kurangkan risiko E-Coli. =D If tak mahu sapu kat bibir guna cara yang I cakap tadi...what you have to do is...simply rub it at the back of your palm. Senang kan? Sebab basically, foundation yang kita pilih (foundation color that suited you) mesti match dengan skin color kita. Betul tak? So it's ok to try it on the back of your hand. =D

So. I hope soalan-soalan kat atas tu dah terjawab. =D I pun takde la expert sangat dalam hal makeup-makeup ni. I'm just sharing my experiences and opinions based on 3 years bergelumang secara aktif dengan hobi ni. Hahaha. XD Ok ladies. If ada apa-apa keraguan...jangan malu-malu tanya.
