Makeup 101: Foundation Routine

Assalam ladies. ^_^

I tak berapa sihat la lately. Runny nose tak berhenti-henti. Sembab-sembab muka. Tu yang buat I lambat sikit nak buat tutorial tu. Sorry. -_-. Anyhow, my friend Inaz and Syafa Izyan (I baru je baca your comment. Kebetulan memang nak buat tutorial ni ^_^) requested for foundation tutorial. 

So this is me attempting to do just that. ^_^ But please remember darlings, ketulan-ketulan jerawat atau eyebag (texture) or lubang-lubang memang tak dapat dicover dengan makeup. Tapi discoloration...merah-merah jerawat or dark circle boleh di cover dengan makeup. ^_^ Lain la cerita if you are using such a tick makeup macam makeup kahwin kan. Yang tu memang design untuk makeup tebal boleh cover semua. Hihi

Kebetulan sangat sekarang ni muka I tengah ditumbuhi jerawat beberapa ketul (tak tahu la kenapa..hormon kot). So boleh la I tunjuk camne nak cover jerawats yang kemerah-merahan. ^_^. Let's start with a clean face. I dah pakai moisturizer siap-siap. Moisturizer tak boleh skip even though you have oily skin. okay babes. I dont have perfect skin. Malu nak tunjuk tapi let's share. ^_^ heee

Start with a clean face

The foundation I'm gonna use is Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation. My favourite because it is full coverage foundation sambil give a very natural finishing. Loveeee.. ^_^ I tak berapa pakai powder/compact foundation sebab nanti bila berpeluh, it tends to give me capuk-capuk (blotchy). And I tak berapa suka cream foundation sebab I rasa tebal sangat. This liquid foundation is just nice. ^_^

My holygrail

For liquid foundation, guna sikit je. Just about this size. (please refer picture below). This size is enough to cover the whole face.

A pea sized foundation

Okay. I'm gonna use the normal foundation brush. You can find this brush kat Elianto. Murah je. ^_^

Use the foundation brush

Then apply kat muka. Satu part at a time sebab foundation ni cepat kering. Sapu arah ke bawah dengan cara fast and short stroke (sapuan pendek dan cepat). Avoid eye areas.

Okay dah siap letak foundation. When you use full coverage fondation lke this one, biasanya segala merah-merah jerawat dah tertutup. But in case tak tertutup nanti kita kena tutup dengan corrector dan concealer.

Finished with the foundation

Untuk mereka yang ada dark circle (warna blue-ish purple), ini boleh dibetulkan dengan menggunakan color corrector warna orange macam ni.

Gunakan ring finger untuk sapukan orange corrector ni kat dark circle.

Then ambil concealer yang creamy berwarna satu tona lebih cerah (macam iklan Garnier la pulak. =P) dari warna skintone. Jangan letak tebal-tebal. Nanti nampak cakey.

Concealer for undereye area

Gunakan jari yang sama dan cover the orange-ish corrector yang kita letak tadi. Put on some pressure kat situ to warm up the concealer.

Use ring finger as it gives small pressure

Haaa...yang ni dah siap cover dark circles. Jom cover zits pulak.

After concealing dark circles

Untuk cover zits, kita kena betulkan dulu the reddish color guna corrector color hijau.

Use green color corrector

Ambil sikit je then dab kan kat jerawats.

Dab it on the reddish spot

Then guna concealer yang sama color dengan kulit untuk cover the green corrector ni.

Use the skintine concealer to cover the green corrector

See...dah tak nampak dah merah-merah. Ishhh tersilap letak watermark le pulak. Gomen nasai, -_-"

Done covering all. ^_^

Tunggu dulu! Kita kena set kan concealer tadi semua dengan loose powder. Kalau tak nant dia cair bila berpeluh or panas. I pakai mineral veil for this.

Guna large face brush. If takde guna je blusher brush. Boleh aje. Hehe. Sapu secara lightly keseluruh muka. Especially kat tempat yang ada concealer. ^_^

apply it all over face

Ni muka dah siap foundation and concealer semua. But sorry..I punya mata memang ada kedut-kedut kat bawah mata. Dah tuoooo. Nak buek camano. hihihi

After setting the foundation and concealer with setting powder

Then fill in the eyebrow. Sangat penting bagi mereka yang berkening nipis tak banyak bulu kening macam I ni. Hehehe.

Then brush sikit bagi nampak natural. ^_^

Dah siap. Boleh proceed dengan eye makeup dan lain-lain. ^_^

 Okay that's it. Hope ianya membantu you girls out there untuk mula makeup. Remember, makeup is like painting. So it's very important to prepare a good canvas (the skin) to paint on.
