MAke Up 101: Half Smokey Tutorial

Ohayo girls. ^_^

I was supposed to post this entry yesterday. But terpaksa postponed atas sebab-sebab tertentu. T_T A sudden chage of plan. But here it is...another makeup tutorial. A half smokey tutorial. ^_^ I was inspired by my outfit yesterday...pink and earthy color pants. ^_^

My Outfit of The Day (OOTD)

Ok...start off dengan muka yang foundation ready. ^_^ Sorry dear. My eyebag memang tak boleh tutup. It's the gene. Hehehe. :P

Foundation-ready face.

Memula pakai eyeshadow base warna putih kat eyelids (NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk). If takde, pakai white eyeliner pun boleh. Tujuan pakai eye base ni supaya eyeshadow yang kita pakai lagi menyerlah warna dia. Hihihi

Alamak lupa nak ambil gambar next step. T_T But what you have to do is smudge the base dengan jari. Supaya dia tak tebal sangat. Macam eyeshadow base yang I guna tu...it's very creamy. Jadi if I tak smudgekan dia, nanti dia cair time panas. Now I'm using NYX Haute Model from Runway Collection. 

Shimmery light pink eyeshadow on eyelids

Then, I ambil this light pink eyeshadow guna flat shader brush. And apply it on the eyelids. Sorry. Please ignore the face. Hahaha. Tak ready tetiba shutter dah snap gambar. Haha. XD

Using Flat shader brush on 2/3 of the inner eyelids

Haa...gitu la ghopenye bila dah letak kat eye base tadi. Tapi apply the eyeshadow kat 2/3 of the inner eyelids (refer to eyechart).

Then, take matte brown color eyeshadow, using blending brush.

Take matte medium brown eyeshadow

And pakai kat crease area. Blend it well. Jangan risau if the pink eyeshadow tu fade masa process ni. Nanti boleh apply balik.

Using blending brush, apply it on the crease area.

Then, untuk menggelapkan lagi the outer corner of the eyes, I pickup this maroon color guna the same blending brush. But before that, spoot clean the brush supaya color dia tak bercampur jadi muddy.

Take maroonish eyesahdow using blending brush

Then I focus the maroon color kat outer corner je. Tujuan nya is to create more dimension to the eyes.

Then, macam previous tutorial, guna matte eyeshadow that is close to the skintone untuk apply kat browbone.

Guna fluffier flat brush for this purpose. That will give you softer look.

For this process, start dari bawah kening then sapu ke bawah ke arah crease area.

Sweep it downward into the crease color

Then, I reapply the pink eyeshadow yang kat eyelids sebab dah pudar masa blend tadi.

Touch up the pink eyeshadow

Next, macam biasa, guna shimmery eyeshadow untuk highlight the browbone. Tujuannya...is to open up the eyes. Bagi more lights to the eyes.

HIghlight using detailing brush

Then pakai eyeliner. If you like....pakai deep brown eyeshadow on lower lashline. It'll make your eyes look bigger. 

Using angle eyeliner brush, take the deep brown eyeshadow

Use angle liner brush. If takde, pakai detailing brush pun boleh jugak.

And place it on lower lashline

Then....curl your eyelashes and pakai mascara. Opsiiii....jangan lupa pakai blusher and lipstick. ^_^ Ok. Dah siap. Jom camwhoring. Hehehe.

For this technique..you can pair it up dengan playful stronger lip color than the previous techinique. And boleh dipakai pada siang hari. Hehe. ^_^
