His high-end designer shoes are coveted by women the world over and now, Malaysian-born Jimmy Choo wants his company back.

Jimmy Choo has hired a London broking firm to help him buy back the fashion brand, in a highly-secretive bid worth more than $US800 million.

The shoe designer sold his fifty per cent stake ten years ago, and now current owner TowerBrook Capital is ready to return those shares - for a price.
