Make Up Brushes: The Essentials

Hari ni 25 Feb. Meaning dah dua bulan kahwin. Nyehnyehnyeh. Best. ^___^

Okay lupakan. =P Kali ni I nak share pasal make up brushes secara basic nya. I got requests from some of you untuk cerita pasal ni. It's good for girls yang baru nak berjinak-jinak dalam dunia makeup ni. Hehehe. Okay....without further ado.....let me start dengan face brush. Remember. What I showed here are only basic brushes. Okay darls. ^_^

FACE BRUSH #1

FOUNDATION BRUSH

Foundation brush. Sangat berguna pada mereka yang pakai liquid foundation like me. Hehe. Ada macam-macam jenis foundation brush kat market. Tapi the most common one yang bentuknya macam ni.

Normal Foundation brush

A good foundation brush, as for the normal foundation brush, adalah brush yang bagi friction *okay I lupa word ni in Malay. Somebody help me* masa kita apply the foundation. Meaning, if kita lalukan kat muka...the brush akan tekan sikit surface muka tu supaya foundation stay kat kulit.

Ketebalan foundation brush

The one in picture is Elianto's Foundation brush. Murah je I beli ni. I dah pakai the brush for about two years now. And it's still in good condition.

FACE BRUSH #2

BLUSHER BRUSH

The one in picture is the classic blusher brush. One rule dalam pemilihan brush is that, the fluffier it gets, the less product it'll pick up. Jadi, untuk blusher, tentulah yang fluffy *gebu* yang you girls kena cari.

Classic blusher brush

Biasanya blusher brush yang datang dengan blusher dalam compact macam yang kita jumpa kat Guardian or Watson tu, brush dia kecik je. Please don't use that one okay darlings. Nanti nampak macam satu line blusher yang pekat kat pipi. 

Oval shape blusher brush

Blusher brush biasanya direka dengan ketebalan tertentu supaya pemakaian blusher seems effortless. Jadi, make sure you find the right one darls. The one in picture, I bought it online couple of years back. But I think you girls boleh cari decent blusher brush dekat shop Yokoso. You girls mesti pernah dengar kan. Tak pun SaSa. Mesti ada punyalah. Heee. ^_^ Okay...moving on to eye brush.

EYE BRUSH #1

FLAT SHADER BRUSH

Haaaa...brush ni paling senang nak cari kat kedai. Flat shader brush. Dari yang murah sampai la yang mahal. Semua pun boleh pakai. Hehehe ^_^. Flat shader brush ni digunakan kat flat surface kat area mata. Contohnya kat eyelids and also dekat area browbone untuk highlight.

Flat Shader Brushes

Again...kena patah balik kat rule tadi. If you nak color yang you put on your eyelids to be sheer, pakai flat shader yang sedikit fluffy; macam first brush dalam gambar kat bawah; sebab dia akan pickup less product. If nak color tu kuat sikit, pakai brush yang stiff and nipis sikit; macam brush yang second.

The difference. Atas tu fluffier than yang bawah.

EYE BRUSH #2

BLENDING BRUSH

Blending brush ni ramai yang tak berapa tahu. Actualy, lepas kita letak eyeshadow pakai flat shader brush, kita kena blend tepi-tepi eyeshadow tu supaya tak nampak macam terkejut je eyeshadow tu. Ni kiranya nak bagi nampak pro sikit la pakai makeup kan. Bukan sekadar tepek je. hehe =P

1-Crease blending Brush, 2-blendig brush, 3-blending brush

As you girls can see from the above picture, ada banyak jenis blending brush ni. Normally yang ada kat makeup store macam Etude House or Elianto etc is macam yang second brush tu. Boleh juga guna. Tambah-tambah untuk orang yang banyak space antara eyelids dengan kening. Contoh jenis mata mcam tu is Marion Counter. Tapi...boleh je guna kat sesiapa. As you move along, you'll find sesuai ke tak brush tu dengan you.

Okay...gambar kat atas tunjuk shape bristle dia. Yang no 2 tu yang normal blending brush la. Yang 1st and 3rd tu bulat bentuk dia. Sesuai untuk crease area. *Yang ni I akan cerita later* okay. Up close....

Pandangan sisi..cheewah!

Perasan tak yang brush no2 (yang atas sekali dalam picture kat atas) tu bentuk dia nipis kat tepi. So...that's why I said, bentuk mata macam mana pun boleh pakai. If space antara eyelids dengan kening sempit pun buleh pakai this brush. Tapi guna tepi je la.

Haaa....that's all for basic brushes. If pergi travel, you bawak these four brushes pun cukup dah boleh nampak macam pro dah. Seriously. Sebenarnya banyak lagi jenis-jenis brush ni. Tapi untuk girls yang baru nak berjinak-jinak dengan makeup brushes. Ini je dah cukup. ^_^
